Hercules:

You were ZZTing quite a long time ago, I guess from the period 1993-1996. Why did you start ZZTing (and MZXing)?

DoggyShop:

I liked the idea of making my own games and because it is a simple "programming language" I tried it out.

Hercules:

You were making a movie-game for ZZT, called "Space Balls".It was a very innovative idea, especially in that time, 1996. What was Space Balls going to be like and what was the main idea behind it?

DoggyShop:

The main idea was to create a game based on the Star Wars movies, but I didn't like that idea after all because that wouldn't be very special. So I decided to make a ZZT movie, which was very special back in 1996.

Hercules:

You were "forced" to leave Interactive Fantasies in december 1996. Were you in any other company after that and did you have any upcoming titles?

DoggyShop:

I don't think "forced" is the right word. I didn't like to make games "on command" so I decided to quit.

Hercules:

I guess the only thing that is ZZT/MZX-related in your life now is testing some of Interactive Fantasies' games. Do you like beta-testing them?

DoggyShop:

Sure, I like it although I haven't got a copy of ZZT/MZX myself :).

Hercules:

You haven't been ZZTing/MZXing for a long time. What are you doing nowadays, what are your hobbies?

DoggyShop:

I like to play computer games (my absolute favourites are Baldur's Gate and Flacon 4.0) and to explore the Internet.

Hercules:

Since you're going to leave school soon (because you'll be doing your exams), what are you going to do further in your life?

DoggyShop:

Work with computers, although I don't know how.

Hercules:

Do you have any special visions on life and/or any unique philosophical theories? ^_^

DoggyShop:

I'll let you know when I have one.

Hercules:

I think this is the end of my questions-list. Is there anything else you'd like to say to the readers?

DoggyShop:

Hell yes, every other Baldur's Gate/Falcon 4.0 fan, e-mail me and tell me where you are.

Hercules:

See ya around, homey.

DoggyShop:

Bet you do spanky.
