Hercules:

Greetings. The community hasn't heard much of you lately, but still you've released Chrono Wars 11 and 12. Are you still planning to make more ZZT games (possibly continue the Chrono Wars series)?

Chronos:

Yes. Chrono Wars is all I really want to make with ZZT. I would also appreciate a little help with the ZZT Encyclopedia. In fact, that's something I'd like to pass on to a worthy successor.

Hercules:

What gave you the idea of starting the Chrono Wars series?

Chronos:

I'm not sure. I've always had a fascination for time travel and the possible consequences thereof. To tell you the truth, I've been ad libbing the plot since episode 1, with the possible exception of 8, which a friend of mine sort of came up with.

Hercules:

Did you want to make Chrono Wars a long series at first?

Chronos:

Yes. I remember wanting a long series since episode 1.

Hercules:

If I am correct, I thought the Chrono Wars series ended with chapter 10. Why did you pick up work on the series again?

Chronos:

Because I hated the open-ended ending of ten. A happy ending on a desolate Earth? Also, I think the ZZT community needed a little jolt, if you know what I mean.

Hercules:

Duky Inc died in September of this year. You have been in it for a long time. Before you were in Duky Inc, you've been a member of Oracle Entertainment. How did you get to join Oracle Entertainment? Do you still remember who the members of it were?

Chronos:

The first company I ever joined was Zed Omega Productions, and I seriously don't remember how. I think someone noticed CW1-5 on the AOL libraries and invited me in. That was near the end of the era of active AOL-based ZZT companies. After that, ZOP merged with some other company to make Oracle Entertainment, and soon after, AOL decided to stop accepting ZZT uploads. Since then, ZZT has nearly ceased to be on AOL. I didn't have any communication with Oracle, and I sort of quit without telling. I was relieved to hear ZZT was still alive on the internet outside AOL, and I started using IRC. On IRC, I got connected with Duky and Luke Drelick, and stayed in communication with him for quite a while. After I released Chrono Wars 10, I fell into my own life in the real world, including school, church, etc. Duky became just sort of a name I slapped on all my games, but I never really associated with them much after CW10. I cannot recall the names of any members of the above mentioned companies, and I can barely remember those of Duky.

Hercules:

What was the reason you left Oracle Entertainment and joined Duky Inclater?

Chronos:

Like I said, Oracle fell into a kind of chaos after the fall of ZZT on AOL. They never really held me accountable anymore, so I met Luke on IRC and it went on from there.

Hercules:

Duky Inc was, IMO, one of the best companies around. How did *you* like being in Duky Inc?

Chronos:

It was the source of revolutionary games and utilities, in both ZZT and MZX. However, it had its day, and it fell. Sure I liked it. However, I was content simply to release things that the public enjoyed. That embodies my passion for ZZT. The fans. With this said, it wouldn't matter to me whether I was president of Autumn Dreams (Are they still around?) or a subordinate to whoever made the "Blue Buckaroo" series.

Hercules:

My last question: what can we expect from you in the future?

Chronos:

I do not deny the possibility of coming back to the community full-force, releasing another 10 episodes of Chrono Wars, an updated Encyclopedia, a full-length MZX RPG, and a new GCS. Ha! I do realize some may have dismay that I am "neglecting" my role as Chronos, ZZT god. However, I am also David Pinkston, straight-A student, trombonist, and working citizen. I will promise, though, never to completely isolate myself from the ZZT/MZX community. I always have some project on standby in my computer. I think it's very possible that an actual Chronos30's Web Page (not necessarily by that name) will be up around Christmas. About Chrono Wars, I have expanded my knowledge of the theories of timetravel. Chrono Wars 13, when it is released, will employ a plethora of updated ideas, and I promise that I will bring back Asher, Hudson, and allthe others later on.

Hercules:

Thanks for your time. See you around.

Chronos:

<bitch mode>You'd better thank me for my time! I could've taken a shower, practiced trombone for all-state, or written an entry in my humanities journal in that time!</bitch mode> Anytime!
