Monday 31 May 1999
darkmage has also moved to the game creating system Verge, as Jeff Conroy told me today. This is another loss for the ZZT scene. The ZZTer Bongo also moved to Verge and guys like Legendd did so long ago.

Monday 31 May 1999
breakout has recently joined the company of Masamune, Knightt and TheYoda, which did not have a name at first. Creatively TheYoda named this company "The Company".

Misteroo's 24 hours of ZZT date set
Sunday 30 May 1999
I spoke to Misteroo on AIM today and he told me the date of the Summer 24 hours of ZZT. This one is of course being organized by Misteroo, because he won the last contest. The contest will take place on June 25.
Weekend of Zeux
Sunday 30 May 1999
ChryoZak is running the 48 hours of Zeux, also known as the Weekend of Zeux. This contest will take place from June 18 (start at 8:00 PM Central) until June 20 (end at 8:00 PM Central). If you want to participate, email ChryoZak. For more info, visit the official WEoZ page. I myself might be a judge in this contest. The old scoring system of Stargazer (also used during the previous Day of Zeux) will be used. Some guys want the date of this contest to be changed, most noticeably Lipid, because they can't compete at that day. Ibrahim has announced that he wants to be the head judge, but all decisions are up to ChryoZak, who runs the contest.
yenrab didn't die
Saturday 29 May 1999
The ex-member of Autumn Dreams, yenrab, who was long believed dead or missing, is in fact not dead. I met her at #igmo and she said wasn't around in the scene anymore, but at least she didn't die (that's what she said).
A brief return of mono
Saturday 29 May 1999
This morning, while I was on #zzt with Koopo, Smiley13, Myth and draco, something surprising happend: mono joined #zzt! It was a short return, because he said he no longer played ZZT or MegaZeux, but he justed wanted to see what was going on. So mono is not completely gone, but he is not interested in ZZT or MegaZeux anymore.
reptile house an undead company?
Saturday 29 May 1999
CoolZx has said that he will keep releasing games under the reptile house banner, even though the company died a while ago. He says that if he will keep on putting "reptile house" on the title screens of his games, reptile house will live on as an undead company. So what will happen to the undead reptile house? That's up to CoolZx.
Ever heard of w2d?
Saturday 29 May 1999
Some days ago I found out about a new ZZT company, called w2d. It is the company of lemmer and scissor. w2d stands for nothing, lemmer just thought of it as a wonky name.
Celebration of IF's third birthday
Tuesday 25 May 1999
I will now announce that Interactive Fantasies will be celebrating its third birthday (which is on June
the 1st) with a special birthday ZZT world. I will keep it a secret as of now, but expect it to be done
in the beginning of June (maybe even on June the 1st).
Bongo moved to verge
Tuesday 25 May 1999
As we all know Bongo, the author of the great Rhygar Trilogy, stopped ZZTing a while ago. I spoke to him on AIM yesterday and found out that he is now working with Verge, a VGA game creating system. He says it's the best GCS out there. So that's where the good ol' Bongo ended up.
