BIMESG is a counter in MegaZeux, added by MadBrain in MZX2.51s3.2. When set to 0, the default MegaZeux bottom-row messages such as "Ouch!" no longer appear, with one benefit being that MZXers can move further away from default gameplay in their games, should they wish to do so. When set to 1, the default MegaZeux messages will appear as usual.
