Now I wonder if its possible to make it so that we can view ALL games and see which games are the best out of the entire archive. Hard to achieve at the moment since i don't see a view all games just A, B , C , D...etc
If you guys do add the "ALL" link to view all, it be nice if you could limit the number of games per page to like 50 or so.
Thanks once again Wervyn, this is great!

Now we can determine what are the best rated games in the archives and which ones are the lowest rated games in the archive. Thanks so much for this, now i dont have to suffer through downloading and deleting "not so good" games.
To view the TOP RATED MegaZeux games very, click here!

Too bad Utilities and MegaZeux versions are included, but however this is still quite useful. Nice work guys!
EDIT:
Is it possible if you could change the link MODs to Music? Because im sure people will be uploading SM3's, OGGs, etc in the future.

Also fixed a bug that was miscounting the pagination, leaving the last several pages blank. This will make it more difficult to use review score as a search field in the future, but we'll figure something out.

EDIT: Okay, try it again. Notice that on the first page you can see the five star reviews start at 4 and then count down to one, before starting over at 8 and counting down to 2. This is because from that 8 and below the average score is less than 5 but greater than or equal to 4.5.

Also, a link on the forums' navigation bar back to the main page would be nice, so you don't have to re-type the url EVERY SINGLE TIME you want to look at the games list again. I survived z2 for maybe a year without even noticing there were forums, here I can't find a way out of them! Also, is there a way to view a list of past featured games?
In closing, I'd like to learn dMZX the same way I'd like to learn MZX, but the dMZX website is as much more confusing than z2 as MZX is more confusing than ZZT, leaving me no way into the mass of assumed knowledge but the dMZX wiki, (which has hardly anything helpful on it for new users). Y'know why z2 is dying? New users don't feel welcome. That, and it's an old game. MZX isn't quite that old yet, so to me it seems the best way to keep it alive is to make the website a little intuitive.
EDIT: my bad, there's already a search box on the main page. A little less intuitive than I hoped, but it's there.

While there is a search box, there is nothing in the database that lets you search by genre, because apparently nobody's been dedicated enough to categorize every game on the archive. Probably not a very high priority either...

Okay, see the line of links just below the DigitalMZX logo? The one that has the Community Rules and Guidelines on it? Look just to the left of that, and you'll get a link back to the front page. Not really obvious, but I'm sure you'll get used to it.

Hell no. You'd be better off actually making a MZX game instead of classifying them by genre.
Edit: Woah, insert acronym option?

<phthalocyanine> they make experiences.
<Nadir> demos, more like
<Nadir> a glimpse into what could have been if mzx wasn't such a bore to work with
<Nadir> actually, i'm being unfair
<Nadir> i would have made mzx games if it was capable of running on more than 20 computers worldwide in 1998
<Nadir> >:D
<%Alice> functor
<%nooodl> i hear C++ has a thing called functors and they're completely different from Haskell functors...
<rorirover> the result is the most horrid thing in C++, it's basically black magic and it transforms any code you're writing into some eldritch monstrosity

Also some advanced syntax search, where you can type in for example
Name~"z*"&(Screenshot>0|Date<2008/1/1)&Tags-"rpg"(where ~ is match with wildcards, = is match exact, & is and, | is or, ! is snot, < is less than, > is greather than, + is includes, - is does not include)
Also should have a date column in the list of files, and a way to change the default sort order per user (for example, I would like to be able to change the setting for default sort order to ascending by name instead of descending by rating).

MegaZeux and Forks
Competitions
Engines and Utilities
Music Packs
Everything
There should be the obvious "Games". Be nice to have so we don't have to click everything and cycle through "everything" or by going letter by letter to find a game of interest.

There's a field in the database for this, but unsurprisingly, MZXGiant wasn't doing anything with it. It wouldn't be difficult to add.
