We got 5 games this time, including at least one from a completely new MZXer.
Judges, you have 2 weeks.
<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.

And I sent it BEFORE the grace period by the way.

This all being said, I would advise anyone in future who submits an entry via e-mail alone to make *pretty sure* that the host actually received your entry, not simply trust to it's receipt.
There is no problem in submitting an entry via more than one submission mechanism.
I am going to attach the entry as a zip below for those who already have the tar, but I am also going to update the tar. This brings our count of entries to 6.

So no penalty, right? Cause I did send the email BEFORE the grace periods.

Team 35487, team name "Shin YongYong", has been summarily disqualified for breaking the following rule:
External Material. All material except music, sound, and the default MZX charsets/palette must be created within the 24 hour period. If any evidence of material such as engines, character sets, palettes, and artwork having been created before the topic announcement is found, your team will be disqualified.
Specifically, a board was stolen from "KM's Univers III" and inserted into the game with the barest of modifications. There appear to be other instances of external material as well, though I haven't had the time to go through them all.
Having been disqualified, your game will not be ranked among the others. It is up to each judge whether or not to actually judge or score your game. I likely will anyway.

"Running on fumes and a dream of tomorrow."
..Ignorance is to be unaware of the truth.
....Incompetence is to be unable to grasp the truth.
......And escape is to run away from the truth.
It is useless to run, since the truth is right next to you.

Like Bob Keller Kielbasis and the legacy of his horrible Blue Buckaroo series? (Not sure about who made Blue Buckaroo 3 though. Might have been made as a parody by someone else.) Cause that series has lousy robotic code, the MZX 1.X default character set, and Caverns music.

QFT, at least for Drelick. I've not made perfect games myself either, though.
Giel, when you get past that stage everyone who isn't a loser will (mostly) stop being dorks about it. People remember Luke (tiesto) for making a game that tested the line of acceptable taste and topic qualifiers in a DoZ. But they also remember him for the Kikan Remake and some other games that weren't all bad (for instance, some of his ZZT work!). People might remember you for making a poorly-conceived game back in the day, but they can also remember you for making a great one now.

Well said... Everyone makes mistakes (hell, even Miyamoto has Wii Music under his belt), and very few people manage to knock it out of the park on their first try. Don't give up.
