Fire creates holes in floors when anything passes over it, which is a bug that is not fixable without changing the world model (MegaZeux 3.00 or later).
Fire is extinguished by every element-type floor between Still Water and Lava (including a special melting effect for Ice), which helps avoid this problem most of the time for these IDs. However, it is not extinguished when Goop is beneath it, making Shooting Fire much more likely to create holes in Goop. This is likely an oversight caused by the late addition of Goop to MegaZeux.
Additionally, instead of checking for the generic A_ENTRANCE, Shooting Fire checks for entrance types manually for some reason. Fire itself has no special protections for entrances, meaning that if a Robot places a Fire over it, that entrance is destroyed. This also is probably an (older) oversight.
The Goop behavior should probably be patched in 2.94; not sure about the entrance behavior.
