It would be nice to be able to quickly get a raster image snapshot of a board or vlayer that's larger than 80x25. For example, maybe the existing block export options could be extended to also export a PNG file (reflecting whatever the current palette and charset happen to be).

This would require some serious work on the rendering code but it is doable.
