dMZX Forums: MegaZeux 2.93 fails unit tests on s390x -> Archived MegaZeux Bugs -> Tracker

The following unit tests failed on MegaZeux 2.93 on the s390x architecture, building on the latest rolling release version of Alpine Linux "edge" as of 2024-01-01:

Failed test 'unit/io/bitstream.cpp::UnShrinkLike'
  Assert failed at line 81: out == expected9[i] (code size 9, position 0)

    Right: 1
Failed test 'unit/io/bitstream.cpp::ExplodeLike'
  Assert failed at line 153: out == sequence[i].expected_value (position 0, 8 bit(s))
    Left:  69
    Right: 255
Failed test 'unit/io/bitstream.cpp::OutOfBounds'
  Assert failed at line 248: out == sequence[i][j].expected_value (array 0, position 0, 16 bit(s))
    Left:  43776
    Right: 255

As unit tests do not build at all on this platform on earlier MegaZeux versions, I am forced to declare that this was introduced in 2.93 - though it may not necessarily be a regression.
