The avatar box will not display an avatar correctly if it is an animated gif (e.g. my current avatar). Lachesis's current avatar (a php avatar randomiser) is left undisplayed too.

Something might be learned from the DMZX boards, here. I'll look into it, but this isn't particularly high priority... my current avatar won't display, either.

The problem is that there's no attempt to display remote avatars. In addition, normal users' rank images won't appear.
