Telecrisis was a planned series of episodic games by wildweasel, with assistance from Lemon MegaGames founders ZergMind and Battle_Hound. The original game went through various incarnations, and was eventually released as "TeleCrisis: Episode One", meeting rather poor reviews. Subsequent chapters were planned, but development was quickly abandoned due to the game's plot being too complicated to work with.

The game was intended to span several time periods, in the style of Chrono Trigger, with the player character stumbling upon many big events with a chance to stop them from occurring. However, this was never implemented in the game.

Wildweasel considers Telecrisis his "newbie" game, after Life of Mr. Ascii, and is quite hasty in urging newcomers to stay away from it.

Trivia

The player character, Rick Dotter, also appeared in at least one of wildweasel's engines. Weasel has continued to write short stories about Rick, though he has officially retconned the Telecrisis timeline.
