Odyssey was, along with MindForge Entertainment, one of the two groups created from the ruins of Square of MegaZeux. It was headed by Ryohei and had a prolific streak of games from its inception to its death.

In 2002, Odyssey disbanded abruptly, without any prior notice to its members.
