This game is a slightly updated version of the previous one, I believe. I was playing for at least 15-20 minutes when I got fed up.

The graphics of this game are gold; everything looks perfect. The music was wonderful as well. The only downfall was the horrible battle system. It seems no one has been able to create that "perfect" MZX RPG style battle system. After leaving the first town, I entered a random battle every four steps or so. The enemy can attack much MUCH faster then you can, so your helth goes down quick. The defend and run features hardly work. Also, as far as I played, no magic was available.

Overall the game was just boring. Nice plot, but boring. I'm giving a 4 to Fiona's Sepulcher only because of graphics and sound - my favorite parts. I wish this game's battle system could have been fixed up a lot.

This is an old MZX RPG from the year 2000, and an impressive one for its time. It has amazing graphics, wonderful music, and a promising story. Gameplay is the standard RPG fare: NPCs, gold, items, random encounters, the works.

However, it's not perfect. The first thing that detracts from it is its difficulty. You start out weak, and the encounter rate is unreasonably high. Some grinding is required before entering the forest, but it's mostly smooth sailing afterwards once you become strong enough (and especially once you master the double attack).

There are also a few glitches throughout the game. Some are minor, but unfortunately a couple of fatal bugs also exist so be careful.

As mentioned prior, the story is promising. Sadly, this is only Chapter 1. See any later chapters around here? No? Yeah...

Overall, this is a short but excellent RPG that had a lot of promise. But alas, as with Honor Quest 2, Eggplant Adventure, and many others, the complete story of Fiona's Sepulcher might never be told.....
