Not really a game, but some very well-written (and very thought-provoking) psychological prose with MZX as a visual medium. I didn't expect Inmate to write something like this.

Whilst no gameplay whatsoever, the game focuses a lot more onto plot instead, like Honor Quest. However whilst it does have some good ideas the storyline can be rather confusing and sometimes just doesn't make sense at all, but otherwise its decent for a one-time play.

...Goshi, what the HECK. You never seem to give plot-only games good reviews. You don't seem to understand this game.

This is a game that really gets you thinking. You really have to chew on it for a while and play it a couple of times to understand the plot. And when you actually think about it, it makes perfect sense. *coughGoshicough*

I would give this a 4 for being a tad short, but I'll give it a 5 to balance things out.

I came to this page looking for caverns, and although I didn't find it, I do beleave I found something better! Although the first time you watch it, you may not get is, play the last board again and it should all come back to you! Thank you inmate for making a playable game and not more of the crap others are putting up here! Or a demo, those are driving me nuts!

The constant over-voting for this game shows that the MZX community is severely clamoring for something with depth. While there are many MZX auteurs out there which make perfectly good light-hearted games (djtiesto & cja, for example), there're remarkably few games with deep writing of any consequence.

Enter "Closure". It's decently-written, despite inmate's usual minor technical mistakes. It looks pretty good. It sounds excellent (if you like 8-bit music, anyway). However, interaction is restricted to "move". I cannot call it a game, and it's over quickly. The biggest problem is letting the prose _stand almost entirely alone_. This is not impossible to avoid, as inmate himself later proved with Forrester.

It's a stellar presentation for MegaZeux standards, but in focusing on presentation inmate made something that feels a little bit hollow. Honor Quest was a game with similar intentions, yes, but it made sure it felt like a game.

3.5 (rounded up).

It was alright. I played it over again to figure out what had happened, though the first time I played it I (sort of) knew, but probably just because I've seen Fight Club. Reminded me tons of Fight Club. I'm sure Inmate is really concerned what people rate this game.
