An "unregistered demo" of a full game. Unfortunately, it looks like the full game is lost..

Super ADVenture is a game with sidescrolling and top-view areas. It plays as a classic-style Megazeux game.

The sidescrolling areas are pretty clever for 1995 but are frustrating because of the unresponsive jumping. You basically have to release all movement keys, jump and then move left or right in order to guarantee you'll make it to the next platform.

The top-view areas are mostly exploration except for one boss fight. In both areas there's nasty insta-kills that will get you a game over no matter how many lives you had.

The graphics aren't bad for a 1995 Megazeux game. Some areas are pretty bland, while others look good (Screenshots 1, 2).

All but one of the songs in this game are original! They're not very good songs, but I still kind of like them. It was one of four Megazeux games from the era I know of which have original music, the others being Empire MZX, Quest of Durin Preview and Super Chuck, the last of which was also made by Palmer.

The full version of this game might have been pretty good! This short demo isn't long enough to be much fun. Even so, back in 1995 I found this pretty impressive! Hopefully Brian Palmer finds this page someday and releases the "registered" version.
