Eh... it's playable. A large part of the game is mazes. There's a switch hunt, and a few boards with enemies that you have to evade because there is no weapon. However, this can prove difficult as the enemies are able to block the single tile width passages forever sometimes, and with no way to kill them, they'll just keep draining your health and render the game unbeatable.

Title screen looks nice, but has "Halloween" movie music. How often has that been done?! However, apparently the author wrote the other tunes himself. They're nothing great, but they fit the game. Graphics are appropriate even if extremely basic, and everything is in gray tones.

This game is SHORT. Around 4 boards, only artificially extended in completion time by the hazards mentioned above. Apparently the author wrote this in 2 days though. I feel it's only appropriate to give this work a star for each day.

Maxim covered most of what matters here, but I wanted to add a couple of other things:

* I really liked the aesthetic and general look of the game, so I was pretty disappointed to find out there are only four boards and pretty much no gameplay.

* The game makes you play the fourth board a second time but with the palette intentionally corrupted so you can't see any of the (numerous) enemies. Your health is filled before this but since you can barely see anything it's depleted fairly quickly. You have to watch the credits with this corrupted palette. Oops!

* The title screen indicates this is "Chapter 1". This is pretty much just a demo pretending to be a complete game...
