Another unfortunate victim of Xenogenesis' unintentional Demo Curse. The first chapter is complete and has an obvious beginning and end, but it leaves itself open for continuation - and since Darren Hewer no longer makes MZX games, it's unlikely that this saga will be completed.

The game has, unlike the original Honor Quest (which was almost entirely story-based), actual gameplay, similar in interface to Spirit Revenge. The puzzles are illogical at times (I found myself diving into the editor a few times to find out what to do), but the story is actually quite interesting (if you're willing to accept a few fantasy cliche's).

The "final battle" (the siege on the enemy castle) was a valiant effort at adding some variety, but ended up being repetitive. Then there's the disappointing cliffhanger.

It's a decent game - what's there anyway, and if you do want to play this, I hope you like cutscenes (they're rather long and frequent - if you can play Xenosaga without getting bored, you can certainly handle this).
