Somewhat based on Shakespeare's play Hamlet you take the role of Hamlet as he travels through various lands to find out and avenge his father's murder.

The controls are quite awkward, the jumping feels fairly stiff to me plus 'J' is a horrible jumping button. You can shoot using well the usual Space + Direction.

The levels are quite linear but have a nice scenery, the graphics are done quite well. However you seemingly fight the same enemy several times, whilst it was programmed slightly well, fighting the same enemy over and over isn't really a good thing. A nice touch is you can fire daggers into certain walls and they stay there for a short time allowing you to jump on them and use them as platforms,

Although you see black space most of the time, the graphics look fine, the forest level probably looks the best out of the lot. The characters are pretty well animated too although they're always white (With one exception) but otherwise they're fine.

The music was chosen pretty well and sounds really nice. There aren't many sound effects though.

The programming is decent, whilst it doesn't really compare to its sequel it is pretty decent. Like I said though, I do have some gripes over the platformer engine.

Overall this game is pretty decent. It doesn't compare to Adlo but it does a nice job. If only it had a larger variety of enemies and an improved platformer system.
