This is a strange game... you play as a goo man who at the beginning of the game is trying to figure out how to turn back into a human. It is an inventory game with default-style combat and one RPG battle early in the game.

The puzzles are easy to solve and there's a good level of challenge until the end when you're fully loaded with healing items.

Graphics are hideous. Most XWing1056 games are hideous, but these are particularly surreal. Scrolling grass, "DS" logoes (Destiny Software?) on buildings, scrolling south and east... poor character choices all around, and no palette editing to mask it, except at the ending.

Sound effects are stock sound effects and music is ripped, but apparently some tracks were written by Cheezit for the game. XWing wrote some new PC speaker sound effects which aren't bad.

Not a very long game but you'll spend at least 20 minutes on it the first time. Oh yeah, using the ice magic on the RPG battle board freezes the game and I think there's a few other places where you can become trapped permanently if you're not careful.

Still, it's at least mildly entertaining. Two stars.
