Last review for today. Anythis is a collection of 4 games in one you might think "That automatically makes it good right!?"
Well your wrong.
The first game is generic MZX action where you go through various areas and beat up stuff. Not too bad but its rather boring and the CV_BOSS tune is REALLY annoying. There is other songs apparent but I never got to hear them. I'm not sure if they managed to dug it up or something. Also what the F**K is up with that annoying noise everytime you enter a new baord. Was that really nessasary!? Anyway its not too bad, its just boring fighting built-ins and the difficulty goes a little overboard towards the end of the game.
The second tosses the built-ins and generic MZX action in favour of platforming action. Once again the maker uses the accursed CV_BOSS tune I loathe so much. But they did get rid of that annoying noise. The enemies are mostly the same each time though and the areas look rather plain. But opne of the biggest problems is: MOST OF THE BOSSES ARE EXACTLY THE SAME. Hell you even fight something that acts like the Final Boss more than twice. Lack of variety pulls this one down really. The first one did much better than this.
The third one returns the generic MZX action however unlike the other two which were fairly long (ESPICALLY the first one) this game is incredibly short. It uses some robotic enemies but this game is still very short and doesn't take long to finish at all. Because of the shortness it fails this game.
The fourth and last one is still generic MZX action and is shorter than the 1st and 2nd one, although it is rather bland in graphics. Hell this one is even more bland in graphics than the last one. It also uses the generic author in game thing buit thats more suitable in comedy games rather than action games. The areas are much more boring in this one overall and looks sloppily don but this one was the first one that I had the music files too and the music is pretty shoddy.
The games are pretty poor overall, all of them use built-ins (Except the 2nd one) and all the bosses used the godforsaken CV_BOSS tune except the last two. Overall this series is pretty poor, however for a newbie game it does thing much better than most others I've seen. Try if you want but trust me, you won't like it that much at all.
