As an experienced fan of Interactive Fiction and someone new to MegaZeux I am enjoying this game quite a bit. I have just begun chapter 3 and will review more fully when I complete the game. I enjoy the mixture of game play and story.

JG The Magician was released in 2015. 2015 was a fairly lull year for Megazeux, and as a result this game did not receive much attention. That's too bad, because this is an extremely solid game.
The game is structured as an interactive story with light turn-based RPG elements. The story is well-written, and feels a bit like Harry Potter with anime influences.
I appreciated the smart design behind this game, most notably its organization into short episodes. Not having to worry about getting sucked into a game for over 30 minutes is convenient for people with busy schedules. The art style is classic MZX, competent, but unambitious. The music feels like it was taken from anime soundtracks. I enjoyed this game and recommend it.
