First off, 40612 Aquatic Marine was a Day of Zeux submission that Giel didn't submit on time--not an excuse, of course. Actually, that makes the plagiarism worse, because Giel didn't bother reading the DoZ rules! Good, I'm glad that's out of the way.

You can probably skip the intro without missing anything, because the plot hardly ever comes up again. After a prison escape, our protagonist Collimac finds a laser gun underneath his bed (?), murders a guard, and walks out of prison through a passage lined with blue and cyan "water" (lava), and gets to learn what prison escape's all about: awful 1x1 platformer mechanics, spikes that take 10 seconds to kill you, seizure-incuding rides across chasms--hey, hold on, does Liquondrus not pay its guards enough? Are they on strike? Is this happening during lunch break? Why are there only about 15 enemies to fight, total, in the whole game?

This is probably a good time to note that the player sprite looks like it has a boner (see screenshots 1 & 2). Is this game supposed to be called Viagra Marine? Is THAT why Cauliflower's laser gun shoots bullets, because it's actually- no, no, NO, NO

The first boss, Liquondrus, is an eel that basically does nothing, but has an inexplicably large HP pool(?). The player is forced to jump up and down and try to time bullets to hit its eyes (the gun noise made me turn off the sound effects during this battle), as there are invisible walls above its eyes.

After some more boring platforming, a few boards later a misaligned board link results in the player overwriting the platformer robot. Whew! I didn't want to play any more of that game, anyway. All we are left with is a fading glimmer of a memory of what a world without Aquatic Marine was like. Thanks Giel.

To boot, this is plagiarized material too, from Bramble's stockpile. Not like one wouldn't ever figure that out, considering all other Giel material "made" during the time this item was made was plagiarized from things as well, but it's still worth pointing out.
