This game looks awesome. Just had to make that clear... it's some of the loveliest tile art I've seen in Megazeux, and it uses the default palette and mainly default chars. You'll see what I mean when you play it... every tile is laid with attention to detail, to the point where if most of the actors weren't 1x1 smiley faces, you'd barely be able to tell you were playing in an environment where tiles are laid in an orthagonal grid, and at most two colors each.

The mechanics are default Megazeux movement/combat, with a few sub-sections that use different engines... many of which are lifted from the Megazeux Encyclopedia. However, these engines are used in a creative way to further immerse the player in the game--and they are modified with some cool new features. Also, nothing in the game is bugged or broken.

Oh yeah, play on speed 5. Certain parts, such as that airplane segment, are nearly impossible on speed 4. Even with the reduced speed it's challenging--and some later segments are nearly frustrating!

Like I said, this game looks GOOD. You can tell what each board is supposed to represent immediately. This is easily some of the best graphics work ever done in Megazeux. The title screen is deceptively ugly, though.

Music and sounds are well-chosen, even if some of the songs used are common in Megazeux games.

Don't pass this one up. I feel like it never got the attention it deserved.
