A quirky and hilarious comedy game by Es. You play as Bank Dad, a single father of three with an unhealthy obsession with money, who is challenged to enter a tournament in a far away land by his rivals, Fast Usher and Movey Star, kickstarting a journey that takes several unexpected twists and turns before coming to its conclusion.

Definitely worth checking out, especially if you're a fan of Es's earlier works, but there sadly isn't much replay value.

Stupid Tournament begins wonderfully, where you play as Bank Dad, who needs to take his children to the bank, but soon afterward takes a less engaging turn. I don't particularly feel like spoiling anything, but there is a dramatic setting change and an obnoxious "zero-gravity" control system that makes me miserable every time I have to use it, combined with some long, tedious dialogues where you have to wait for the next line to show up about 50% of the time before you can press the button. There are still many laughs to be had, and some of the game's most memorable quotes comes after the setting change, leaving that part of the game bittersweet. After you're done playing, edit the game and explore some of the unused boards! I enjoyed them more than the zero-gravity sections of the game :)

This is the spiritual sequel to Esdemo's 2005 comedy game ''The Short Lived Adventures of Hobo Dan'', as with Hobo Dan, Expect crazy, wierd stuff to happen in this game, and a SEIZURE WARNING is in effect here if you are playing either game...

This game is very fun, and funny... and it shows, this game has funny moments worthy for some people, SOME, as in not for everyone...

That being said, That alone gives it and Hobo Dan the cult status well-deserved in the MZX community, making it a modern classic.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.
