Harry Potter Game is a basic, linear adventure game. I'm not sure how well it adheres to the original Harry Potter story, because I've never read the books or watched the movies.
The graphics and board layouts are really nice. Which is typical of Bramble games. The level of detail isn't excessive, but it's almost like crude, block-based impressionist painting. It's probably one of my favorite aspects of Bramble games.
Unfortunately it's loaded with instant death traps and confusing puzzles leading to them. I guess it's to artificially increase the length of the game. Giving answers to riddles by trial and error where the game is over if you're wrong takes longer than some easily dispatched robot enemies.
If the game were made challenging in a less ham-fisted way, it would have been three stars for sure. At least. It's still worth checking out for the graphics, especially if you're making a similarly styled game.
