Zombie Quest...the game consists lots of inside jokes...which is good! Because I am an insider! PATAPAM! 5! One of the games I really loved...not because it was made by the other Finnards, but because it's an awesome game.

Zombie Quest is an adventure game where you're a zombie. And your quest?

...nothing, really. You just go around being a zombie, eating random stuff and going to random places. The game is as mindless as its protagonist. The story begins with you vandalizing a bar that won't give you one last drink, and then you get hit by a car, fall into a sewer of green sludge, and turn into a zombie. From there, it's just random tasks, random places, random eating of stuff, random humor, random minigames, random battles, random plots, and random randomness.

In spite of the randomness, it's quite an entertaining game. There is no sane person in this game, bonus points are awarded for violent actions, and the wonderful graphics combined with the gloomy colors portray a world that's clearly crazy. The music and selection of sounds aren't so bad either.

It's not a flawless game, however. A few graphical glitches are present, but nothing too distracting. Mostly though, there are a few places where you can die and it's very easy to die when it becomes possible. That, along with some random factors at some points, necessitates saving. Admittedly that's quite common in adventure games both MZX and non-MZX, but it doesn't make it any less annoying.

Overall, Zombie Quest is a mindless entertaining adventure game. If you don't feel like thinking, give it a shot. And if you do, hold left at the driving minigame and never let go...
