So Seventh is this guy and he's like HEY I'LL MAKE A ZZT/MZX COMMUNE RELATED ACTION GAME AND IT WILL BE GOOD. and when he says such things he delivers. The demo for Rebirth Machine shows potential for one of those awesome mzx games that everybody talks about but everybody really knows don't exist. The graphics are pretty and Nadir did some for the character selection and it looks very nice. The characters are all based on awesome people and each has their own little bonus. (Nadir 's double damage and 7th's rapid fire work very well together.) There's some mad-ill beats. MAD-ILL. I suggest you download immediately and check out the journal thread as this isn't one of those dead demos that you hear so much about (and do exist). I'd give it a 2 but it has me and the ghostbusters theme so it gets a 4.5 but you guys didn't think to include .5's so i'm going to yell at you and only give it a 4. I'm sure the full version will be even better.

Unfortunately, this game is very, very dead. There were hints of a second attempt to make this game at some point but nothing ever turned up. Rebirth Machine, we'll always hold you in a special place in our hearts right beside Dinosaur =(
