This is not a great film. But, uh, what'd you think of it?

Dropping in randomly, as is my routine. What did you guys think of the movie Circle? (On Netflix streaming.) Not a great film -- but I kind of really like that genre. I guess I'm reaching out because you're all smarter than the Reddit crowd I tried to get insights from. Lancer, Noah, Lachesis, Exo, Wervyn, CJA, here's looking at you.

Circle (1998), Circle (2014) or Circle (2015)?

<Malwyn> Yes, yes. Don't worry I'd rather masturbate with broken glass than ask you for help again. :(

It's the 2015 one.

Its rating is pretty bad so I dunno if I'm not that compelled to watch it >_>

tbh from the summary, it sounds like a hard thing to actually make work as a film

I'm compelled to watch it just because it seems like it has a weird philosophical agenda.

However I have a very hard time giving a movie my attention, and I also don't have a netflix account anymore, so maybe I'll revive this thread later.
Need a dispenser here.

It's definitely a low-budget movie with a lower rating, but I guess the weird concept and high stakes are what held my attention.

Exo: Horror movies (if you can even lump this one in that genre) tend to get lower ratings because horror movies are just a little worse than everything else, and they have a smaller audience than bigger genres. That's not to say the rating isn't appropriate. I guess this was one of those mediocre movies that actually made me curious about its meaning.

No worries guys, thanks all the same. Great thread bramble :(
