Due to unknown Android security functionality (EDIT: most certainly Scoped Storage), files produced by one Android program are not accessible to other Android programs. In this case, zip files extracted with one program (in this case I used Cx File Explorer) do not appear visible to MegaZeux - they do not appear in the file listing, cannot be loaded, and an error will stop you from saving something else on top of them.
MegaZeux can create its own files and it can access those files, but can't access these other files.
