Umm, this might be a little late, but what the hell...

Uh, hey...I'm Markus. I joined the whole community in..uh...2002. I've been doing MZX games since 1999, but I haven't really finished anything, except for those DoZ & WoZ games I've done with the other Finnards. I am also a member of Interactive Fantasies. That does not matter really.

I like roleplaying (pretty much all forms of roleplaying, except LARP...). I also like...um...playing video games, drinking, hanging out with my friends, drawing, and of course, making stuff with MZX. I don't like ZZT.
Interactive (F) Fantasies

<Beige> In Finland, they defecate on each other's sleeping areas.
<Beige> It's a cultural sign of respect.

I'm Commodorejohn. Not as in the naval rank, but as in the wildly successful 1980s computer that still rocks today. If you can't tell, I'm an old-computer/console freak. I like Megaman, Mario, text or graphics adventure games, and RPGs. I like grunge. I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them, Sam I Am. I like comedy. Almost any kind of comedy, especially Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, and Mel Brooks movies. I think Calvin & Hobbes is the zenith of the entire comic-strip industry. But I also like a bunch of online comics, such as Order Of The Stick, 8-Bit Theater, Freefall, Ozy & Millie (when Simpson's not being a rabid lefty with the strip,) and the early archives of Kevin & Kell (it's just in the toilet nowadays.) I think Final Fantasy Advance will be the single best event in the past millenium.

XColX, real name Colin, but known by friends and family as just Col.

Basically my nick came about because when I tried to sign up for my first email account about 5-6 years ago, I couldn't get col@...so I shoved some X's around it. It's kind of a lame nick in that respect, but it just stuck.

I've been in the community since early-1999 (when I was 12!), but I've never really made any games worthy of mentioning...I made a few newbie-ish demos, and also a retarded 4kb game called 'World's Drunkest Smiley'. I'm pretty sure there's no such word as "drunkest", but that's probably the point.

I used to be quite active on mWorld, and I spent about a year or so as a moderator here on DMZX, but recently I've just sat around IRC mocking people. It's fun though!

I never really ever was a MZXer, and I've always been more of a musician. I used to make mods, but after getting some new equipment I've been making uber trance anthems on my KORG TRITON synth.

End.

Hi, My name is Guy, AKA GuyX AKA Myst AKA Myste AKA Guy[Myste] AKA Dude AKA omgwtfbbq. Some people know me as a Horrible Newbie Of Death, others think well of me... I've only released some VERY newbish games, such as UnderGround City, Insanity1 2 and 3, and galago... >:( Although I've recently been working on TWCP and RQ, which are looking pretty good so far... I don't post asmuch as before, I basically just toy around in mzx and watch people harass eachother on #zeuxworld. I also used to be known as Benjamin Duchemin on zeuxworld, before the forums got erased. When I'm not on my computer, I'm usually eating fast to get back to my computer.

yeh thats me.

'lo all, I'm Spectere. I'm currently 19 and have been playing ZZT since 1992 and MegaZeux since around 1994 or '95. Despite that, I haven't released anything for either GCS. ;) I used to occasionally go on the old AustNET #megazeux channel as either Repeat or Spectere, depending on my mood, but have pretty much drifted away from the community until recently. So, yeah, hi guys! ;)

MZX/ZZT aside, I enjoy playing Dance Dance Revolution (only PSMH and PSMO stand in my way of TOTAL ABSOLUTE VICTOLY over DDR Extreme), playing BeatMania (shame the closest machine is an hour away from me), mashing keys on StepMania, playing Dreamcast (<3), and drinking Kool-Aid.
:)

I'm Kuroneko AKA Kuroneko122301. I haven't been using MZX very long. I like sword engines, swords, and sword-chucks. Some call me newbie. Some call me an experienced MZXer. Call me what you like.

I am making a game called The Legend of Xon right now. An RPG with a few bloody cutscenes. I have a journal of it in the Journals section.

While im not MZXing, I enjoy reading 8-Bit Theater, playing Final Fantasy I, and watching The Slayers.

Thats all.

PS: If you have a nVidia card you are willing to give up, I'll gladly take it =).

I'd like to see a sword-chuck engine in MZX...8BT is funny, although it really overdoes the "BLACK MAGE IS A PERVERT" joke. FF1 rocks, and I can't wait for the GBA version.

Hi. I'm joepsycho or joepsycho27. Some mistake me for the all wise-ass-thinks-he-knows-it-all Apollyon. I'm not. I WAS his roommate in college. It's his damn fault I'm here. I don't even know why I still go here. I guess out of habit. I don't make games or do anything with computer programs. I play guitar in a punk band up in Huntsville, Alabama called THE ACRIMONIOUS. We rock and shit. Update for people who know me: I now have a job. I just bought a drum set and can't wait till it comes in. I'm 20, mexican and fat. NOT phat, but FAT! I mean WOW fat. I'm a Democrat, so be sure to vote for Kerry (most of you are to young to vote so too bad) in the up coming collection. Bad Religion, NOFX, and Guttermouth are the greatest punk bands in the worlds. \m/

Why the hell not, it's pinned

Anyway, I'm Matt Rudi and/or Switchblade. I don't know why that's my nick, it has no story, and I can't make a post as long as Ler's. As of the time I made this post, I've released 3 shitty games (ski2004, sk82004 and beat box). I'm currently working on a sidescroller called Robot Universe and will try not to scrap it. Other than that, I aint shit.

Hello Sakiana! Don't worry about not having MZX talent. (A) you can develop it, and (B) you can do graphics for someone who can program. Anyway, welcome!

meh, nows as good a time as any to ramble off a few facts about myself.

I'm your average bored high school student, except without the stupid. Oh, and I have sarcasm in my veins instead of blood, or so I'm told. Xombie is just a newer version of ZombieBoy, which I used on mWorld when I was younger. I also used it on AIM with various 5 letter greek letters after it (Alpha, Theta, Gamma, Omega, Sigma). No, I am not goth, or whatever those people like to call themselves. I don't think that I am undead, though others that observe my sleeping habits may disagree. I just picked undead themed names because the first thing that I made for mzx was a crappy little engine that I did in 2-5 minutes that reanimated the player after game over. Zombie Engine >> ZombieBoy.

Languages are easy for me, and that includes programming, math (including odd bases like 2, 16, 2i, and 1-i, which sets me apart from most math people), and other symbloic type languages. I can program quite well, and thats about it. When it comes to graphics, I would prefer to use the default character set. And the default colors too. I like the default colors.

Speaking of graphics, it seems that our new member Sakiana has an aptitude for the areas in which I have the greatest weakness. If you do show up much, and are interested in helping with a project that sorely needs a compitent artist, PM me and we can work something out.

Heh, I just said I was better at graphics than programming, which isn't saying much. I love doing it, but I still suck at it. Of course, I'd love to help out with any projects. I'm always willing to try a new challenge. If nothing else, I'll get better at editing that way. Practice makes perfect.

Precisely. Just keep practicing both graphics and programming! Also, if you want an ego prop for your programming skill, take a look at my first game. Now tell me that you're worse than that. And keep a straight face while doing it.

Xombie: Reanimated the player as in...?
(A) Actually put him back in gameplay? Does adding a life after gameover work?
(B) Did a "reanimation" cutscene on the Game Over board?

<lolilover> I notice alot of Japanese fiction involving kemono-mimi characters always has the main character saving an innocent animal and then the animal returns as a girl to reward him for his kindness.
<lolilover> Well there's a cat that is always wandering around in my backyard. Should I feed it in the hopes that one day a catgirl will show up at my door?

Hi, I'm Megan.  I'm here thanks to The end.  I honestly don't know much about programming.  I'm better at graphic art and sound editing.  You'll see me around from time to time.  Hopefully, I'll contribute something of use.

I told you your intro post wouldn't suck :p. Anyway, welcome and such... not that I haven't said that already but meh.

EDIT: It should also be noted that you're better than me in all of those things :P.
