I assumed SPRn_COLOR would exist because of all the other SPRn_ counters, and I was surprised it didn't work when I tried to use it. Without it, remembering a sprite's color seems to require storing it redundantly in a user counter, and setting a sprite's color seems to require an entire PUT that needlessly involves its x and y. (Maybe there are other ways to do those things? If so, they're not as discoverable as a color counter would be.)
