(You'll need Winamp plugins or player software for the SID and NSF files.)
31711*.s3m: Music from "Final Frontier," the sci-fi entry Pyro and I did for the previous summer DoZ. Some files have subsongs, so use a tracker rather than a normal player.
creepy.s3m: I don't know where I got the idea for this, but I rather like it, even though I was still horrifically inexperienced at MOD/S3M music when I did it.
Mechgam1.mod: Pyro and I were at one point going to make a Mechwarrior/Battletech sorta game in MZX where you'd pilot a Battlemech, but it never got anywhere. This was the only song I ever did for it. Again, I was pretty inexperienced, but it turned out pretty well.
rmncbkzx.s3m: I was going to make an entry for the Romance BKZX, (actually, I did, but I never got around to submitting it,) and this was the music for it. There's one main song and two one-pattern subsongs.
cg*.s3m: I was messing around with NES-style music in Modplug, and I did a soundtrack for an imaginary game. This is it.
*.nsf: I was messing around with NES-style music in NerdTracker, and I did a soundtrack for a never-materialized RPG. This is it.
Asynchronization.sid: Listen to the channels separately, then together. One has three patterns, one has four, and one has five. Each loops at its end, creating a spiffy effect.
Happy_Tune.sid: Just popped into my head one morning, and I put it together in GoatTracker. I like it.
rpgtemp.sid: Some RPG-ish songs I put together in GoatTracker (although song 9 was stolen from Wizardry by way of Bernard The Bard.) You may recognize song 5, which later got recycled as the boss theme for RPG Quest (which I will finish someday, I promise you.)
Currently, I'm dabbling with OPL/OPL2 music, including covering "Super Trooper" on the original OPL chip.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

This week, on LANCER PONDERS:
<lolilover> I notice alot of Japanese fiction involving kemono-mimi characters always has the main character saving an innocent animal and then the animal returns as a girl to reward him for his kindness.
<lolilover> Well there's a cat that is always wandering around in my backyard. Should I feed it in the hopes that one day a catgirl will show up at my door?

two new songs. these are instrumental concept recordings for my solo project. the actual versions will have vocals, amps for the guitars (instead of my direct box), and more than one microphone on the drums.
enjoy!

the lyrics are:
bursty b said:
The truss rod holds the platform
In the spacious void where I stand
The truss rod holds my fretboard
But my fingers are stuck in the sand
Sleeplessly protruding from the follicle, it comes
It's no wonder why the figure is so similar to the sum
The redbird sings the sorrow
Of advances in our race
Looks of anger, ice is melting
And her tear runs down my face
i'd appreciate everyone's honest opinion!! THANKS

i'm recording my fourth album right now, and it's definately the most diverse, both musically on an arrangement level and sonically on the technical level, than anything i've done so far. i have two of the songs from the upcoming album posted on the net. if you want to give them a listen, please feel free, and obviously, i'd love to hear what you think of them!

angelfire rulezzzzz.
the new album will be done by the end of summer if things go as planned.
wakeuppery takes a minute to get into, while entre nous is more readily approachable. i suggest listening to both, though, if you want to get a feel for what i'm doing.

Oh trust me, I have seen scarier,
Take a look at this Videogame's Ripped Music (Nintendo NSF)
Track 4 in (If you ever heard of it) Ufouria's NSF (aka Hebereke in JAPAN)
Has a UNUSED scary theme, Which is never FOUND in the game itself!
Try it, it is 100% SCARYNESS!
Download here:
Ufouria Soundtrack
And the Player Here:
Nintendo Soundtrack Player
(Make sure you are listening to TRACK 4! The Unused-Scary Track of Ufouria!)
if you think it is Off topic, it is a tiny bit, I was just telling someone for a MORE

Yeah - still, off topic though, please just post your own music in the future...
oanda - hey, nice, kinda minimal, really pleasant though. Ever heard of some guy called "Tape?" You might dig it, it's some minimal guitar strumming plus toy keyboard and IDM beats, centered on an "aquatic" type of feel. That description sounds silly but it's actually pretty nice listening. Wakeuppery reminds me of it a little bit. I like the guitar noises and percussion on Entre Nous, too =)

it's drum and bass, but with an orchestra. i was playing around with some samples and the symphony instrument in cubase and this is what i came up with. i like where it's going but yeah, not enough time to make any songs to completion right now.
