Post any corrections regarding DMZX here (broken links, incorrect names, missing files, etc.).

Nothing major... but in the missing games thread... it lists "Legend of Omega 3" project dump.

Neither Tixus or I released any material other than a short cinematic demo... which is already on the site.

I already directed you to this earlier (on IRC), but I'll mention here as well that you indeed did.

paulguy apparently DLed it as well, so it'll be on the archive soon enough.

All downloadable links in the forums link to "index.php"

Try downloading a file from a thread, we are presented with a page of ASCII ;)

Yes, I was just gonna post about this after visiting T-Bone's MarioMZX thread. I tried copy-pasting the url into the address bar aswel, still goes to index.php.

I'm not getting the forum index, I'm getting a page that tells me "Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again." That's for a much older download, though. Still, doesn't sound good at all...

Could this be a possible hack attack? It'd be an interesting fact if a ZZT'er did this to force us into reading ASCII characters ;)

when i attempted to download tbone's latest mario demo, i got a page full of random characters. i just saved it as a zip file and voila!
so the file is there. it's just not getting opened as a file, but rather as a page of text...

We deleted all uploaded files sent before a certain date to free up space on the server, because we were running out of it.

Um, there's some script that seems to have leaked into the top of the page.

That was part of a debugging effort by Wervyn and I and was done in a controlled fashion. It should be gone now.

Okay, for some reason IPB does not want to let me view attached (i.e. onsite) images in threads. I am properly logged in, but it brings me to a page telling me to log in to view the image. This is an example of an image that doesn't work, but it's happened a couple times before as well.

This was a permissions issue, because you and other members actually weren't allowed to download items from forums where you couldn't upload them. I've considered this an oversight, and have changed the settings to allow regular members to download items from any active forum they can read, even if they can't upload them there.

Could we also fix the filename issue so that the original ZIP filename is delivered to the browser? I think a Content-Disposition header would have this effect.

As soon as I get a few hours, I'll be working on this. I've decided to take it from a completely different angle and I'm scrapping the code base; restarting. I'm shooting for this weekend but I've got a lot of overtime to work :p

This problem was actually always there; it wasn't "introduced" with the new archive. The files are named exactly the same and the system gets confused. I'm going to have to re-import the entire old archive to fix this.

Damnit.

Issue with Duky Inc Anniversary Collection - the MODs/music/etc. are split into 2 packs, but unfortunately, both of the MOD packs are the same file name and contain the same songs... so the site archive is missing some music.

Luke, was this like that before the new archive? I may have to do some fishing but I thought the file import system was fairly flawless.
