MegaZeux World Downgrader? Looking to downgrade a 2.51 World edited in 2.70 back to 2.51.

I got lost and I somehow ended up back here. Hi.

Is there some kind of "master downgrader" that one could possibly use to downgrade a world that was accidentally upgraded to a later, non-DOS version of MegaZeux? I have such a world from 2003 / 2011. (I have no idea.) If I had to guess, I must have opened it in v2.70 to take advantage of some of the cleaned-up and shiny shortcuts and code, full mouse support, and the like. I'd love to downgrade the world back to 2.51 as my game world doesn't use any of the new functionality of 2.51s1 or onward (I think), so a utility for that kind of thing would be grand.

I like my old, archaic MS-DOS executable with all its numerous misspellings. So there. d:

Cheers.

Edit:
Yes, I know about "downver". That only seems to work one version at a time, though, and I don't think it can get me all the way back to 2.51. Not even close, in fact…

You could try hex editing bytes 27 and 28 to from 0x02 0x49 (hex) to "Z2" (ASCII)—the world format didn't really change much in the DOS era aside from save files.

I'mma slap myself. I knew that version value was there. I just forgot about it until you reminded me.

Worked like a charm for the 2.70 edits. Unsurprisingly though… the copy I had edited in v2.81 or something did not take kindly to having its version rewritten.
Opening that copy in MS-DOS MegaZeux gave me some… interesting results. Thank goodness I had that old backup!
(I mean, it wouldn't have been the end of the world if I hadn't, I guess…)

Cheers and thank you, Lachesis!
