I enjoyed "Get a Life"--I think the story told was pretty good and funny (unless there's something in it I missed that'd make me not like it, which I don't think there was). The...third I believe, chord of the chorus caught me off-guard the first couple of times I heard it, which in this case is a good thing.

NKULTRA - Kowloon-HOLE - The Girl

if that isn't mainstream enough 4 u then you can listen to my pop band No Kisses HERE

I think these would both be up your alley Suzanne

Implicit Eight is nice punk/rock stuff, kind of reminds me of "Smash" era Offspring.

Follow the Quest is goofy, heh. Been practicing diminished scales?

Overall a nice blend of styles, I hear different influences coming through pretty clearly (a bit of Green Day - Longview, some Iron Maiden type riffing.)

Post up song names/bands, or a video here and there.

Sounds good burstroc, that verbsplosions tune is sweet. :]

This is what I currently have to offer:
http://www.youtube.c...KBMNITh8_A&hd=1

It's a collaberation with a friend of mine - ambient dubstep with some trancey elements to it.

Nice tune. At the start the drums took a little getting used to for me personally, but it's neat stuff. I can really tell you're coming from a trance background :).

i liked it a lot xcol, sorry i didn't reply sooner! pretty much all the music in this thread is tight except a few i posted lolz. but this time i have a somewhat lighthearted offering from the synthpunk duo of myself and my partygoing friend geddy on vocals. we're tentatively called "The Untactfuls", and we'll soon make a few more songs based on his party experiences. sorry if you find some of his language, uh, untactful. full title's "Catfight on the Dance Floor" -

http://hillofants.com/catfight.mp3

edit: maybe i should mention we were a little drunk during recording but i came back later and cleaned it up a lot, and also who knows we may release a longer version later with some kind of solo.

edit 2: i should probably also say thanks for all the kind words about "get a life".

It's actually been quite a while, but I ended up 3rd in Trippycompo 009. I don't think there's a way to download just one entry but the whole pack isn't that big, is it?

i bring you two more synthpunk songs from deep inside the party itself. not for kids, sensitives, offendables, twilight fans, or people at work.

http://hillofants.com/twilight.mp3

we weren't so drunk this time

edit 4 PROTIP: change .mp3 to .txt for lyrics! again very nsfw

So I went and made a concept album for the good folks over at The Comics Curmudgeon. It's called The Funnies, and it's geeky and in-jokey as hell, but I dunno, maybe some of you might enjoy it. Take a gander!

I hear MIDI choir noise. I love it when windows MIDI sound synth things make cameos in songs. also this is so earthbound, yeah.
