We've decided to depreciate the Elite member group, since we feel it was pretty much just a relic from way back that has no real purpose anymore.

In an attempt to balance things out a bit given the loss of certain perks, the post editing time limit for normal members has been lifted, and Lachesis did some additional stuff with permissions in the Vault.

There may be more changes on the way in the coming months, and we'll post about them here when and if they roll out.

Normal users can now:

Delete normal tags from their own records.
Delete reviews they have submitted.
Edit their own records.

There are a couple of other permissions changes but the effects won't be seen until I change the Vault a bit.

As much as I enjoyed being on that inner circle, I've already thought about this myself and brought it up, as Lach can testify.

Good riddance :(

<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.

<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.

The people who could previously read it can still read it, that's about it.

It really never got many posts in anyway. The occasional bit of meta-community whining etc.

Oh, being on the Elite squad always made me feel so good about myself, ha ha : ) Oh well. Easy come, easy go, I suppose.

The Admins are the real elites. They built this place with their bare hands. Without them, we'd have nothing... and I do mean nothing.

Yeah, it's actually more the former admins who built the place. Actually probably more the admins before those. The rest have still all done what is best described as a 'buttload' of work for the community though.

I'll still remember that at some point, somewhere, someone liked me enough to bump me to Elite. Lancer, I'm looking at you.

I'm glad you're excited, too, but eyes up here.
Phasing in and out now and then.
