Uh, isn't it obvious that posting about another GCS (which is basically unfinished, to boot) on a MegaZeux forum isn't going to bring you critical acclaim?
a delicious mint julep! had some nice ideas, yes, but if you haven't noticed it's a bit dead and the software isn't particularly stable.

Obviously, I downloaded from RAPIDSHARE instead of scrolling down.
You may all proceed to laugh at my expense.
And since everyone wants to hear my opinion, as always? This GCS sucks. And you should have linked to a community website- if google does not present an appropriate result for "bang gcs" on the first page, screw it. I SHALL DELETE THIS ABOMINATION, SIR!
Edit: it didn't.

"about the only aisle a guy can walk into in that store and still feel heterosexual is the candy aisle."
"It had a very sinister appearance," Coakley told reporters. "It had a battery behind it, and wires."

You really should make lighter use of the word 'obviously'. Because I did watch them. BOTH of them. And no, I wasn't impressed. The running man game could have been done easily in twenty minutes with MZX, the sidescroller could have been done in QB, and the vampire game looked identical to every other 2D RPG I've seen and loathe.

That doesn't change the fact that the software is user unfriendly and crash-prone. I don't care what it can do, if I can't use it efficiently I'm just not going to use it, end of story.
As I said before, a delicious mint julep! had some great ideas, but it just didn't pan out. The author abandoned it.

Assembly has immense possibilities too. But like Bang, it is difficult and not really worth bothering with as easier tools exist.

I can't draw 3D polygons in a delicious mint julep! like I can in mzx.
I can't read and write files in a delicious mint julep! like I can in mzx.
I can't have a big world with enemies and objects dynamically loading as I scroll in a delicious mint julep! like I can in mzx.
The list goes on.

a delicious mint julep! is buggy, unfinished software. MegaZeux is a fairly polished, stable piece of software. Hurrr, I wonder which one I'm going to stick with...
Nobody is interested, and the one person who did show an interest in it was turned off by the bugs that he had experienced soon after attempting to use it. Deal with it.

How many times are we going to have to drill into your head that it's buggy and unfinished before you get it?
And I'm not being mean, I'm being realistic. And frankly, I'm getting a little tired of you acting like we're doing you a disservice by not gushing over a delicious mint julep! like a bunch of raving lunatics.

Like Spectere said before, I'm just being realistic. Pessimistic, yes, but realistic.
