Here's the deal, it's really simple. Seen a movie you liked? Want to share it with others and give your opinion? Do so here!
Don't just give a name, but also try to elaborate your views on the movie and why liked it.

i went to see this on a whim a few weeks ago with no idea what it was about other than that DENZIL WASHINGTON was the lead
it turned out to be a 2 1/2 hour long revenge flick about a bodyguard in central america whose charge is abducted and assumed dead
it was totally awesome, i loved kill bill so i ate that shit right up
i know my description sounds lame but it was a really good film

I love films that make you think, and this one keeps you guessing until the end when all the threads come together. I can't remember any of the actors, but it has some big names and the other main character from a mental instituion is one of my favourite characters of all time. It's set in the near future when all of mankind has been driven underground by a contagious virus, and one man has to go back in time in order to stop the virus from ever being spread. This movie plays with your mind, and ends in a moment of "Of course! Why didn't I think of that?"
That was also a pretty bad review, but I don't care.

Johnny Depp is the best actor EVAR. His part in this film was brilliant, and the twist at the end made the entire film worth watching. You can't really watch it twice, because if you know how it ends, it doesn't have the same effect... but still, a great movie overall. Brilliantly directed by David Koepp.

Secret Window made me clutch my pillow tightly as it was the first ever horror film I'd ever seen. And the ending was horrible (not plotwise, it was a very excellent twist, but it made me want to cry. Sort of.)

also the old star wars weren't bad, just kind of seen them too many times and now they're just kind of like, old. I haven't seen any of them in a while though. Maybe I'll watch them again.
I've also heard fight club was good, maybe I'll see it at my friend's sometime.

My recommendation for the moment:
Delicatessen -- directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet
Excellent French movie. Jeunet has proven himself more recently with movies like City of the Lost Children (La Cit? des Enfants Perdus) and Am?lie (or Le Fabuleux Destin d'Am?lie Poulain) and he deserves the praise. Delicatessen features a very original setting and absolutely hilarious characters. A bit of a dark film, but with plenty of laughs. Go rent it (and I do hope that the US release includes the original French audio track instead of some lame English dub...).

The end was great, but awful. It made me cringe, and he looked really evil at the end with the round glasses and stuff. But the way it was put together was awesome. I did not like how he turned out the evil way rather than listening to Mort. But now that I think about it, I suppose there was no other way to end it, so... Oh well. :(

Enigma
A Clockwork Orange
The Bourne Identity & Supremacy (very different from the books, but still good)
The Sentinels (most will disagree, but it's still something you should watch)
<Malwyn> Yes, yes. Don't worry I'd rather masturbate with broken glass than ask you for help again. :(

This stupid cop saved the hostage and ran her to the police car.
He was stupid because you know, when a hostage is strapped in DYNAMITE you generally don't want to piss off the guy with the detonator which he did!
Shit blew up.

I saw Hero the other day, great movie with great actors and story, visually beautiful, I just think that it dragged on a bit too long, but definitely worth seeing.
Oh, and don't forget my personal favourite:

Yesterday, I watched Dead Man, which is a black/white western from 1995 starring Johnny Depp. A very odd movie... kind of slow, but very interesting because of the way it has been filmed, its musical score (by Neil Young) and the vague quotes (especially of the Indian called 'Nobody'). I wouldn't recommend this to everyone, but I thought it was great. I guess when you're stoned, this movie will really suck you into it (no, I wasn't stoned when I watched, but the guy who recommended it to me was).
Also, go see Jacob's Ladder.

I second that!
I swear... if you've ever actually seen Andy Kaufmann, you might actually be confused whether that's Jim or Andy on screen. Jim does such an incredible job. I'd definitely give it a watch.

Others I liked just as "movies", not exactly amazing are Underworld and Identity..can't think of others now.
And I liked the idea of Donnie Darko though I didn't particularly like the movie itself. Hmm..
edit: misspells.
