predictions from 6 days ago said:

16:35:15 <Lachesis> 22677 wins but Logicow catches the snitch
16:36:10 <Lachesis> nah, I think it's going to be something like, 22677, Logicow/GM (not sure which one will get 2nd), BBH/KKairos (again, not sure)
16:36:17 <Lachesis> all of the other ones are DQed

Albeit, I was still angry at Logicow's game when I made that prediction so I underestimated it and I forgot that Theme Heavy scoresheet didn't allow theme DQ

Good DoZ, for those who tried, at least

I'll compete next time

Seriously? Wow, I can't believe 22677 beat 22625. 120/120 gameplay from CJA, amazing for a game where the gameplay consists of spamming wasd, jerkily moving along, and hoping you don't accidentally go in a pit you can't escape. Then again, after the second time I fell into a pit I couldn't jump out of I quit the game forever (I think I was on level 4 or something) so maybe I missed out. I still went through the plot stages though.

King Yu's Tower I actually enjoyed, just had a couple snags to me.. thanks logicow. madbrain did the music, really? Excellent.

I don't think the judges have ever been this divided over a winner. Terryn and I put King Yu's Tower first, CJA, duvel and Wervyn put Immortality first. Good show from both sides.

I point out that my results were basically a tossup with four points of total difference, and I gave logicow nearly 15 percentage points of gameplay over asgromo/Kom. So for me at least it was very close and could have gone either way, I took the scores as they fell and decided I was happy with them, and tweaking them slightly the other way wouldn't have changed the competition outcome. Either way, congratulations to both teams, because nothing else is really worthy of congratulation. At best, GreaseMonkey and Baby Bonnie Hood are due an eyebrow-raise of approval.

My squarely average place surprised me. I was reading up on the past few recent DoZ's, so I wasn't expecting to place high up; yet here I am in 4th place.

Regardless, I had fun with my very first DoZ participation. Thanks guys, it was neatsome.

Interestingly, I wasn't lambasted as thoroughly as I expected/probably deserved. For the record, no, the graphics weren't mine, they were placeholders ripped from Final Fantasy III, as I think I mentioned in the .txt file included with my entry. Also for the record, ARGHFRGHL WHY COULD I NOT FIX THAT STUPID VERTICAL JITTER

This week, on LANCER PONDERS:
<lolilover> I notice alot of Japanese fiction involving kemono-mimi characters always has the main character saving an innocent animal and then the animal returns as a girl to reward him for his kindness.
<lolilover> Well there's a cat that is always wandering around in my backyard. Should I feed it in the hopes that one day a catgirl will show up at my door?

I have to say it should be "Dragons" feat. "Anything is Possible When You Believe". Kom was a whirlwind force of nature. I only provided the temperature differentials.

You two seem to incredibly underestimate yourselves compared to each other. I think that's funny, maybe that leads to some good team dynamics. Although it sounds like you'd need a leader to really get things cooking and to tell you "no you don't suck at that just do it"

Thanks CJA and duvel, I had a nice laugh from your comments on my game.

Thanks Terryn that you actually BOTHERED writing a story about my game.

NO THANKS LANCER AND WERVYN, YOU ARE BORING SLACKERS THAT DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER MENTIONING MY GAME IN A PROPER, FUNNY WAY

(Wervyn's on the plus side though because he mentioned it)

EDIT: And this is my video in HQ (the Mike says bitmap was originally in 160x50 though, so it's better on later) (also i had to remove Justin Bieber so i'm not banned from youtube again)

EDIT2: I DIDNT USE MICROSOFT SAM, FOR THE LAST TIME, I USED MICROSOFT MIKE
