Okay, I think I've ironed out the last of the bugs with a combination of upgrades to IPB (3.1.1) and IP.Tracker (1.3.2_MZXG) -- as you can see, I custom-tagged the tracker version because it's a non-regression-tested hack job I threw together tonight to make it work.

Keep an eye out for bugs and if the tracker won't let you report them, PM me or find me on IRC.

Peace out. *dies*

I was getting tired of nothing being done about it, so I went ahead and fixed quotes, codeboxes, the profile page, and the search page in KKairos' skin. KKairos is who knows where, but Lachesis still needs to fix h(is|er) own search page.

Her. What's wrong with my search page? If nobody tells me where the broken things are, I can't fix them

Here's a quick list of things in your skin that need attention, some of which you may already know about:

Search page (see Advanced Search button)
Search context dropdown (click on the link that says "this topic" to see)
Calendar page (don't forget event styles, there are some in July to test with)
Post buttons (report, edit, reply, etc.) and post karma score (haha like anyone uses that)
Post editor (hopefully only needs to be worked on in one place, but applies to fast-reply, full editor, inline editor)

Probably others, I'll start using your skin and keep an eye out for more.

EDIT: MOAR STUFF

Inline file attachment box (example)
Quick profile popup header (click the little green diddly next to a username. you've done some work on this already, so fixing the header shouldn't be hard)

What are all the templates needed in a skin file? And what are all the needed the commands to include dynamic data inside of the output from the template codes?

There are a series of templates and CSS files, enumerating over 1000 lines of code, including various hooks that are needed to display dynamic data. I suggest finding an IPB skinning manual -- I don't know them all.

That is difficult to find, since I do not have a license. I suppose I can more easily do phpBB skin, but I want to do also IPB skin as well.

Welcome to my hell -- our license was issued years before I took over site dev, so I've got no development manuals, no skin manuals, nothing -- not even an API guide. Unfortunately, you're as in the dark as the rest of us.

I am truly sorry! I didn't know that! (Perhaps next time you upgrade, you should put phpBB (or another free one) instead, or else get a proper transferrable license that can be ensured any new site administration will be able to use it and all documentation and other features that comes with it. However, using a free one is more better in my opinion)

Fixed the search bar and search context menu (thanks for breaking it, IPB), post buttons, editor, the user navigation menu at the top-right, and the attachment box, as well as removing some web 2.0 gradients and making the main header BG look better when displayed above the post color scheme. Still need to do:

Search Page
Calendar
Various pop-up menus
User Settings Menu

I didn't mean right now! I meant next time you have to change around everything, you can use a free software. (At the current time is not necessary)

If you ask me, it'll never be necessary - the forum as it stands works perfectly fine.

Sure! The huge pain of transferring posts and members to a completely different system notwithstanding, the next time we have to undergo major changes, we'll go for something that has around 3000 major known and actively exploited security holes! Might as well, right!

It will likely not have to be done in a long time (especially if you can fix the licensing issues with admin so that the site admins hold all licenses properly and can get documentatnion and support and so on), but I am saying just use a free one, it doesn't have to be phpBB!! There are others!!

About the security holes, it seems it was badly programmed. One of them is about the preg_replace. It says "Whoops. The regex flag "e" interprets the input as php code!" but ever since I learned about that command I realized that, I don't know why other people forgot that. Actually I think I even wrote a note on the documentation for preg_replace. You should never use preg_replace with user input for the regular expression, use preg_replace_callback instead which is safer. (It is also said that they now have priorities to fix security)

Advanced search, calendar, and popups done. Settings menu still needs a bit of work but I'll get around to that within the next couple of days. Right now, I'm trying to figure out how to get images out of/back into an XML file (which is what IPB spat out when I asked it to give me the board images). Any input? (I'll link the XML file if somebody says I can)
