use this thread to inform everyone of the latest offerings from your musical project(s). if you don't know where to host your mp3s, try myspace or purevolume. also use this thread to reply with phrases like "This is the best music I've ever heard" and the like. :(

i'll go first! i recently finished mixing on a short song from your money wasted:

That song rocks. I love the "Let's make a deal. You can go anywhere except in certain places, like here, and here, and there, and there and definitly not in here... maybe I'm not exactly sober" part.
Phasing in and out now and then.

I really like the lyrics in that song bursty, it's a very cool style you've got going on there.

That's where you can check out my grime and dubstep tracks. They're pretty bass-orientated so I suggest you turn those subwoofers riiiiight uuuuuupp.

burstroc: I like the song but I... well, I dunno. The vocal style is kind of ehhh in the first 40 seconds or so.

A fight theme I just finished. It was tracked with MadTracker 2. It's available in .XM and .OGG. It makes a good battle theme or boss theme.

funkbrat - Hey, kinda neat. The bass works pretty well. Couple of tricks you can use - on a lead instrument like your trumpet there, instead of just cutting the note right off when it's over, try just dropping it to 15% volume or so - it makes a subtle echo effect that really helps fill out the sound. Another thing I would suggest is on the harmony part, vary up the lower/counter part a little so it's not just the same interval all the way through - try to pick tones out of the scale that complement the top note and the chord.

Cool idea though, I'd like to hear more.

It sounds pretty good dude. Very SNESish and with the trumpet sound.

Only thing I would complain about is that it didn't really vary enough for the amount of time it took.

In those whole 3:30 minutes I don't remember the bass changing once. And since that's a very strong and apparently bassline it does make it sound quite repetitive.

The leads were pretty sound though.

I meant to change it near the end before it looped back so it would match those other notes, but I seem to have forgotten.

burst; Like the song you did a lot.
Nice intro, cool lyrics and cool percussions. Especially near the end as the track grows more energetic. The mixdown is nice and loud, although I personally prefer it when I play it with the high EQ'd up a bit.
"You can go just anywhere except in certain places, like here, and here, and there, and there and especially not in here... maybe I'm not exactly sober" :(

funkbrat; I didn't know you tracked either :pikachu: ... nice stuff. Cool lead thing you've got going on there.

Es;
"Been there before", good music to mzx to methinks :pikachu:
"bussin' plumbers", again, cool riff
"dave shave" weirdness :(
"WAAAAAAHOOOOOOOO", the vocals are a bit strange in there, but I really like that groove you've got going on there with those glitch samples :pikachu:

emalkay; w00t! :(

Ehm ... I'll post something some other time, when I feel like it.

by the way, burstroc, I just listened to Covered in Bugs for the eightieth time and for some reason now I really really really like it. I guess my ears have gotten used to your style or something.

reviews of es's moozak

"btb" - Kind of boring at the beginning, but it gets awesome
"WAHOO" - Odd. But good.
"plumb" - Reminds me of Toejam and Earl. This is a good thing.
"shave" - Reminds me of Conker's Bad Fur Day. This is also a good thing.

funkbrat, it's a decent song, but please get rid of that terrible nasal chorus sample and replace it with a string or something.

Kinda random, but I wanted to contribute something.
