I started this game 2 days ago that's going to be about a whole bunch of people in the community. We'll be against a new planet-place-thing, called #ZIG. Just like #MegaZeux and #ZZT. Starring Me, and ler. And Bramblekid will be the mysterious guy who starts to follow me and ler around and help us out. Who else wants to star in this adventure?

Funkbrat, if you have to do a cameo game, make it good 
This is like one of the FIRST things a newbie does is make a cameo game. But I'm not gonna stop you, it's better to have a game made than no game made (unless Exo bans you for it, but that might be a good thing in some cases.)

Cans. What I believe Kurushimi's implying is that your game is a blatant ripoff of Cans by Inmate. And I do recall that there were planets in Cans named after IRC channels...
The cameo game is a good idea, but you might want to go with a more original plotline--set it somewhere else maybe, create your own fake MZXer world. That will set it apart some and give it its own, Cans-inspired identity, rather than the Cans-ripoff identity you might get if you keep going the way you're going.

By the way, the screen looks interesting. It's on the right track, but you might want to smooth out the grass and get a different water char...however, if you're going for a simplistic style of graphics, the trees should work fairly well. But the interface at the top looks great...
It does appear that you've got a nice gameplay style going. For the record, I don't know if you've got a Cans-gameplay style going there, because the only one I played at any good length was Cans 3. Most of what I said in the above two paragraphs comes from Cans 3 knowledge and general MZX-culture knowledge of Cans, plus whatever I played of the first two.

Yeah, Funkbrat, those lamer characters are Inmate's work. Smilies with feet are just generic MZX stuff, but those guys are Inmate's and you shouldn't steal them. As for the concept, I would agree that you should create some sort of MZXer world instead of just planets named after IRC channels.
Potentially, this could either be funny and cool, or be a Cans rip-off. Let's hope for the former.
Oh, and go ahead and put me in there somewhere if you want.

ZZT VS. MZX WAR!
I can tell you're excited. It was like this except it was you as ZZT with your good friend Super ZZT going through the terrible MZX base (because as we know mzx is a tool of Satan/Exo). And after you got through like the 2nd level you met all the other ZZT clones like ZZT++ and ZIG. And only ZIG could join you because he was the only one that was done.
In short it was stupid but it did use the armory board from town of zzt which had a newspaper you'd read.
The moral of this story is somebody will take your idea, and chances are you won't care at all.
