Yo!

Your sig is wikkid! Even if those games aren't in development, I like what you've done there. Please finish one of them at least! The Super Mario screenshot is amazing and so is the Dragon Warrior one. :(

So yeah, I thought I'd just mention that.

EDIT:

Here's the sig for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

I was also thinking about that. I give my recognition, too. Sweet job, man. They're all very cool, and the Prince of Persia one is totally eye-popping (in a megazeux sort of way).

I definitely like the Mario one.
I remember playing the demo for that one and it was awesome.

I noticed it earlier today, and I thought it was completely awesome. I didn't think I should take a thread completely off topic to say something about it, though... so I'm glad emalkay made this thread. The "Side Draft" one is SWEEEEEET.

I really would play that Dragon Warrior one if it ever came out.

Your ZZT games are nothing to sneeze at, either.

Out of the previewed games that I hope to complete by the end of 2006:

Dragon Warrior
Link?s Quest
Jet Pack Man 2

All the others will take quite a lot of work since most of them were abandoned in their early stages so its questionable as to whether I'd ever touch them again. Even if i decide to... the majority would just only become demos.

In terms of Super Mario for Megazeux, the engine I had completed a while back screwed up after I had tried to update it, following a long vacation away from MZXing. I got rusty at the programming and messed it all up? ECK! But the good thing is I had tons of various backed up versions of Super Mario for MZX. Down-side is, I'll have to recode the sprites and also redesign some of the levels since the only versions I had recovered go no farther than World 6 Stage 5.

Your familiar with my ZZT Games? They are quite rare these days but I'm honored to hear from someone that's played at least one of my them.

David Pinkston a.k.a. Chronos used to be a beta tester for my bigger ZZT projects that sadly were never released during the ZZT era. I still have most of my old ZZT games and projects and am currently looking for some places to house them since the death of the original ZZT.org.

So by out of curiosity what ZZT games have you played by "T-Bone6"?

I kind of liked that "City of ZZT" thing that you made a few months ago. It had some bugs, but it was still pretty nice.

Must of been my Tim Sweeney remake with 'STK'... or "Union Town".

I've done quite a lot of ZZT Games... in fact TOO many ZZT Games lol Just not all can be found on servers these days. I'm currently working on a website to host them all and my Megazeux projects as well. But mostly anything that has to do with Megazeux will be on DigiBoard

Have you ever stopped to consider just how many projects you're working on? =P I swear you even have me beat...

That being said, Metal Rear Solid sounds at least somewhat interesting - I'd like to see it pulled off.

Some More left out:

(_) Birth of Kin
(_) Char'tue: Conflict
(*) Connect Four
(*) Pong
(_) Riders
(_) Rouge Adventure Game

hahaha! Well I am trying to get all the ones close to being completed DONE. Metal Rear Solid sadly... isn't one of those. Still got some issues with the guns in the game and the AI of the enemies. But I hope to finish that one instead of scrapping it.

EDIT: Disabled Sig for this post. Getting annoying lol

I have three projects on the go... A MegaZeux Game (15% completed), Legends of Avalore (35% completed), and Dark Ages (30% completed).

Ugh... I'm having trouble finding the time to finish ONE, let alone all three.

Congrats! Everytime I start a game, everything gets deleted. Either by accident or on purpose...

For some reason, I always go over the 3 Meg limit when building a game.

Err hasnt "sim city" already been done by that Inmate guy?

Hey thanks a lot JPX, very much appreciated. Its very taxing trying to get all my projects onto the completion wagon and Beta-Testing is a very crucial part of getting them there without the cluster of BUGs attached to each of them. Going back and fixing games can be a complete drag and a waste of time. Time is something very rare for me now considering my new life-style.

For those of you who are unaware of my occupations (yes? plural); I work for a radio show segment on CKLN88.1FM radio in downtown Toronto, write for a local newspaper (now magazine as of 2006) and do photography. As of recently there have been even more weights placed on my shoulders. I also now do web design and programming, graphic design, audio editing and the most greatest development of my life? I became an official Film Maker this year and my first documentary has been screened all across the Greater Toronto Area?. OHHHH hahaha and how could I forget my girl friend! :( (she and i are actually a couple now and we met online!!!! Trip on that!)

So as you can see its quite hard to fit Megazeux into my new schedule. But I?m an insomniac so I got some extra time on my hands to work a bit on each project each night. So your help in testing my games would be quite awesomeness man and anyone else for that matter.

In terms of Grand Theft Auto: Megazeux City, there are three variations of this game. The first one uses single chars for its vehicles. The second uses 2 jointed-chars for vehicles by use of overlays and has a slight difference in appearance. The third version uses sprites whereas the vehicles are large and the overall graphics of the game is on a bigger scale.

The biggest challenge in getting this game off the ground is the vehicle handing. I got the stealing of vehicles down and working but the controls for actually driving the game are all whacked and not realistic enough for me. So the game still requires quite a lot more tweaking and poking before we see a demo.

Okay, here's some more screen shots of some more games im working on!

Super Mario Party for Megazeux
Posted Image
Up to four players can adventure the World of Mario while duking it out with eachother in various combat games!

Street Brawlers
Posted Image
Don't expect Motral Kombat nor Street Fighter game play :( Game currently only has 3 characters, but not all fully animated yet.

More Screen Shots and Information about my up-coming games to come!
