My name's Kurushimi, and I've been a member of the community since early 1998. Since then, I've released one game (BLARGFRDRGMAHAG!), have participated and judged in several DoZs, and have had more scrapped projects than you can shake a stick at (PBS Must Fall, Anarchist Creations, Myth of Helga, Le Flamboyant Neige, Sword of Wotte, Smashing Young Lad, and countless community specials). I became part of the DMZX staff in late June 2002, and consider myself just as valuable an admin as the others, though I'm a lot more weird and random.

My nick's "The end" (more lately changed into Vash on several places). I'm at 14 years of age and has the mind of a 5 year old, currently living in sweden. Been a member of the community since early 2002. Never realesed anything serious, apart from one DoZ entry (which sucked).

1. Military-grade magnetic radar jamming device, seen on F-4 Phantom and F-16 Falcon.
2. A former MZXer that just hangs out here to write game reviews and crap.
3. Why is there a third definition?
Serious damage to important body parts pretty much ruins any plans you had for living. Bummer.

I got the name when I was little and skinny when young. Tyrone was for T and bone was for being so darn thin. The 6 is for something?
I started MZX in 1998 when I found out that Greg Janson stopped ZZT'ing and started the MZX project in 1996. At first I was a ZZT'er who made only dark project ZZT games which were not avaible to the general ZZT public. Only certain people played them: Chronos30, Newt, Softhead...ect.
It was in 1999 (I think) when I decided to post ALL of my finished ZZT projects onto ZZT.org. But sadly, a week later, ZZT.org was shutdown.
I joined DMZX in 2002 (not long ago) so that I could become an known member of the Megazeux. I have many projects I am currenly sharing with this great community. (sadly, some people are just asses here) I hope to stay with DMZX for one or two more years that is if I don't get bitched at like "guy" and decide to leave.
I could talk about my current projects, but Kuru would just say I was plugging them, so I won't mention them. I was the first to get a warning in the new zeuxworld forums, just because I mentioned Super Mar...oops.

<Zaphod`> Hey ler
<Zaphod`> Are you ler-ning?)
I have been in the community for about half a year now, I originally discovered ZZT around 2000 from the Mushroom Kingdom site hosted by classicgaming.com (I believe it might still be up at http://www.classicgaming.com/tmk/ ) and their Mario ZZT games section. Being about 9 at the time, I thought this ZZT thing was pretty neat, so I downloaded a couple of games off of ZZT.org(actually, I think I only downloaded Banana Quest by WiL) and was impressed by what I saw. Quickly I went to make my own game, after downloading STK and such, and I made my game which was uploaded to z2 under the name Weirdworld(if you want to see it, you have to look under the author name Lukster). The programming didn't suck too bad, but the game itself was ultra suck. I went to work at making a sequel, which was going to be a lot weirder(I remember I was making a a stove that came out and danced. I was not on any drugs, so I'm still wondering how I came up with that.). I soon gave up and went on with my life, until about 2003 when I decided to see what the heck was going on with ZZT. I returned to look under the ZZT Clones section, and I found a thing called Megazeux. At the time it didn't work to well because I couldn't figure out the configuration stuff(which was crazy, but whatever). I eventually got it to work right, and I thought it looked pretty cool; much cooler than ZZT. Once again, I set out to make a game, this time actually venturing up into the community. I registered as Gamecube_Guy(which was me being fanboyish, something I seriously hate right now) and made a "HI I'M NEW" thread, but I was smart enough to read the faqs and such before I made my first post; thus, I succeeded in making a start in the community by asking for good examples. Everyone gave me positive feedback, so I was happy and started on my great failure of Wolfenstein MZX, which was planned to be the first Megazeux FPS(I had never heard of RoboWarz, which totally rocked mine out of the water). I actually had part of what I thought was good system by putting different colored spaces and walls on a map and having a robot that would move foward and backward and turn that would create the 3-d image by reading the space, color so it knew what directions to check for wall color, and then I had it put already created images together to form a picture of the room. Unfortunately, it could not read ahead of the robot, so it failed at that. When that project was scrapped, I started work on a more feasible project called Spell: Magical Danger, which had no plot whatsoever, but had a great spell system I created out of the inbuilt input box. It was probably one of my greater engines that I finished. A little after I had started on Spell, I also started on MZX Fighter, which was to be the first MZX Fighting game, and my first venture into sprites. I had a workable jumping engine and health engine, but I left the community too early to finish it. Then about February, I came back as ler and started on another doomed project, Lost Universe, which was to be a Sidescrolling Action-RPG similar to the GBA Castlevanias(those were my favorite games at the time, and they still are some of my favs). Then I restarted on Spell, renamed Spell to Magic, created the odd idea of Super Castlevania 2, created the neat idea of Neo America(which was a horrible title for the plot of the game, by the way), and then dropped all of them. I'm probably going to restart at least one of my old ideas, as I'm too lazy to think of another one when I have all of these other games I could make. I want to learn C but I really don't like some of the standard functions, and I don't want to bother making my own header file.
I also recently joined the Doom community, and I'm going to make a deathmatch wad whenever I can tear myself from playing Deathmatch. I'm getting good at it, too.
My full name is Luke Ellis Rester. I'm currently 12 years old, and I'm going to be in the 7th grade next school year. I feel that I am a good bit more mature than most of my peers(all of them really, but that's arrogance). I am a straight A student for the most part in school, except for 1 or 2 grades where I got on the A B honor roll instead. I have quite a temper, and you probably don't want to get me really angry if you are close physically to me. I seem to have some form of insomnia, as I never seem to get to sleep easily. I really rather things to be cheap and easy(one reason I like Megazeux so much). I live in Picayune, Mississippi, but I am no redneck or any kind of stereotype (I'm glad, too). I do go fishing, but never hunting, and I play no sports, as most of them don't exactly strike me as fun. While I like things cheap and easy, I don't mind doing hard work if the pays good, and I never plan to try to cheat people of money, as that is too lazy. I am a christian.
That was the longest thing I've ever typed in one session, and I'm pretty sure it sounds weird if it is read out-loud. Whatever.

Um, as for non-MZX stuff, I play the drums, guitar, and bass guitar, as well as a little keyboard and piano. I'm in a band called 'Lifemark', which I am the leader of. Besides music, I enjoy hanging out with friends, people watching, and scaring tourists. Oh, and I guess you can see a pic of me if you click on my name or search for me under members or whatever.

My avatar is a picture from my stupid comic thing, "When Fungi Attack!" which can be found in the Creation Corner somewhere. The pic in my signature is from a really old, defunct MZX site, and Slimed was awesome, so I put it there. That's, um.. all.
Have a nice day, D00D.
EDIT: more stuff

I've released a christmas special, done 3 DoZs and multiple BkoZs. I also have done some engines and am in the process of working on 3 (count 'em) partnership games.
I'm 14.5 years old, Canadian, work in C and C++ and in grade 9. I like to think that I'm respected here, and on IRC, but that's probably just wishful thinking. Anyways, I have admin stuff on Zeuxworld and that makes me happy.
I'm into music in a big way, I play percussion and saxophone at my school and it rocks hard because I am the percussion section in both bands. I also like doing Modplug tracking, and swap songs with people on IRC occasionally.
Next.

I've been around the ZZT community since the late 90s and the MZX community since 2000. I've just recently started writing an autobiography which basically says everything there needs to be said about me. I've released 1 game which I am not very proud of it at all, Sim-Life (Dylan Morrison). I released it in 1998 and it sucks ass. Its all of 15kb, zipped.
I like using words that end with eh, especially "meh". or "beh".
Because I'm so tired, I'm not going to finish this up. Instead, I'll give you guys a link to the bio.
Being Me, If I can - An Autobiography (unfinished)
<@Tixus> Anyway, I set the year to 1988 for some reason.
<@Tixus> And set the microwave to run for a minute and 28 seconds.
<@Tixus> But it failed to send me back in time, and I was disappointed.
<Insidious> Tixus accidentally microwaved the 80s
<Insidious> that is my takeaway from this

I was a very very productive member of the mzx community for a few months, then I kinda just got... um... lazy
And now I'm too busy to do anything, learn from my mistakes people, DO THINGS WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
Anyway, You may or may not know that I'm a member of Mind Forge, for what it's worth. And have released several little niffty things that god knows who has a copy of anymore, and I helped out a bit with the mzx source, however, exophase cleaned up after me because my code was less than fantastic! IT GOT THE JOB DONE THOUGH!
Anyway, now, I spend more of my time wishing I could get some more time to work on Chronostodian. why am I not working on it now? My computer is busted, but don't worry, the HDD is intact.
Up until recently, I've noticed a steep decline in my overall face keeping. I guess this is also attributed to my lazyness, not checking my typing and such I mean look at this quote.
"<astral> Who is this Koji person on the digiboards? S/He is starting to remind me of akwende, with better spelling."
Yeah, that was a good one... how about
Kuru posted
"Bleh. Seeing how Koji is not about to admit that he is god just yet..."
Yeah I remember when every time I cam on IRC one guy who took this to the n'th level would say "Hello GOD!"
Well thoes were the good ol days... Now I'm hated by all! YAY!
Seriously though, I guess I got all arrogant with all this talk about me and I sort of got lame QUICK. Well recently I've been trying to kill that beast and maybe look into that whole modesty thing I was so into at one time.
Damn I wrote alot for an 'introduction'... Oh well *click*

At the time, I had no idea what was going on, and my name was Knight.
This sort of bugged Knightt, but I remember that I thought it was funny so I kept my name.
Anyway, somehow or another the topic of Megazeux rolled up, and so I checked it out. This was beautiful to me. Purely beautiful.
I joined mWorld a little after that, completely dropping interest in ZZT and moving on to MZX. Unfortunately, at this time mWorld was having lots of trouble with hosting, I think. It went down for a while and I got caught onto other interesting things. I didn't look at MZX again for some time. (So far, it's been about a year or so into the story)
I searched somewhere on a search engine for MZX. I had been bitten by the MZX bug and I wanted to make games. So I went back into the MZX community--still mWorld. I played MZX for a while, maybe two months, and then mWorld went down again. So I played something else, got caught up in it, etc.
I can't think of how I got the DMZX link. I joined up as 'RedKnight'. This account is probably still active, I'm too lazy to check. Anyway, I left and forgot my password, so I made a new nickname, "Xerxes". I was kind of a quiet observer at that point. I played people's games and maybe asked a few questions, but I didn't engage much. This went on for a couple months.
Suddenly, I started going crazy and starting so many games that I didn't have time or willpower to complete them all. To this day, I haven't made a game yet and released it, although I've done lots of false advertising for games that I was making that never came through.
I remember at this time I was going through my "religious warrior" stage. I was a Christian, and by gosh, I was going to make everyone else one (bad plan). I started downloading games and removing all of the dirty things from them, so I could play totally clean games. I started a post that really struck a blow, criticizing people for being gay, and cursing, and other such things. I have really bad memories about this, and I've apologized a couple of times for this.
Anyway, I left for a while after that. Let's see... until I was about fourteen, last year. I slowly started coming back, and was peaking around Christmas. Er, for some reason or another, I just stopped coming for a while a couple of months ago. Today is my first time back in a long time.
Anyway, that's my story, I hope it wasn't too boring of a read.

...and I can remember little of what I've done.
I believe I've released some games, and been in a few contests. I think I've got some old webpage somewhere, too.
Looking at my join date, I guess I've been here for a year and 346 days. Although I'm pretty sure I knew about MegaZeux quite a few months before that.
I got MegaZeux from Dosgames.com. i feel 1337
I think my name used to have a space in it. Dreadful times. :(
ed: I also have the problem of not unticking those godawful emoticons.

I'm here mainly thanks to knowing Terryn and Prophet, though I do have an interest in dabbling in MZX when I finally find the time to do so! I'm currently debating taking a copy of it into work and installing it on my PC there so I can actually accomplish something USEFUL within my time there.
I play the guitar, bass and piano as well as a few others, however, these are my main instruments. Currently I'm looking to form a black metal band with people of similar tastes in music to myself. Music is the main aspect which takes up most of my time. I'm a huge fan of black and death metal, sometimes dipping into more avant garde metal, on an odd rare occasion!
I'm a gap year student (someone who takes time off after finishing school before going to University), and my family are currently looking to emmigrate to New Zealand. Slightly funny I should be typing this now as just yesterday we recieved word from New Zealand house about our application! It seems I shall soon be located on the little Island next to Australia! Even if I move, I still intend to come back to the UK to study Chemistry at Manchester University where I have a place already lined up.
That's about all you need to know about me!

? Also known as ShloobeR nn some areas of the community (IRC) =)!
? Started using Zzt about '96, MZX in '97, Joined the megazeux community some time late '98 but wasn't really really active active till about 2000.
? I've released a couple of games, nothing amazing, most can be downloaded at good ol' Digimzx or Zeuxworld (Nogozone Demo, 20HBG, Zombeez 1)
? I've competed in... uh... 4 or 5 Dozes I don't remember. Usually with the amazing team Kyoufushou (oh god i love you guyz). We won it once, and have come up with some pretty good entries each time. I also scored 3rd when I went solo, which is pretty kewl ^_______^.
? I live in ESPA?A, it rocks indeed because there is the suns and the womens and all that. Oh and I guess I'm fluent in English & Spanish too.
? I'm working on a few MZX projects. But am often on a MZX block, so I rarely work on them. They include : TeckRPG and Johnny. I'm also involved on that new wide project there.
? I coin lots of phrases :]
A'ight, I think that's it for me, enjoy.
