When copying a block from overlay to board, if a robot is overwritten, MegaZeux is still looking for that robot after playtesting. An error message appears

Currently working on Servo for MegaZeux, I hope to complete it by the middle of 2015? Who knows...

Aditionally, I discovered that if a block overwrites a robot on the board and then you go to play-test the game, the block you copied to the location will not be there during play, instead the robots and previous chars will be at this location. when you end testing and return to the editor, the block you copied will again be there and the robots will be gone, giving this message for each overwritten robot. Not sure if this should be listed as a separate issue so let me know if you'd like me to split them up or give more info. Thanks.

Updating status to: Confirmed
Updating severity to: 5 - Critical
Updating Introduced In Version to: 2.80X

Thanks for reporting this bug. This is actually causing crashes for me in debytecode builds.

Storage objects aren't getting properly destroyed when an overlay block is copied onto the board, which causes them to continue occupying their former robot IDs. These invalid robots/scrolls/etc are saved with __test.mzx but have no corresponding robots on the board, causing the error message you're seeing.

This bug seems to exist all the way back to early 2.80X versions and can be reproduced with the following steps: fill robots onto the board, copy overlay over all of them, and then attempt to place another robot anywhere. Instead of a robot being placed, the buffer will be replaced with a c07 Space p00 (which happens when there no robots left to place).

edit: Related bug.

This also affects the COPY/COPY BLOCK family of robotic commands.
