The Summer 2006 DsDoZ Was held on July 14 at 5:00pm EDT. The top three entries were Madbrain and Logicow's Mira the Pirate, a sort of classic 90's platformer that utilized [[SMZX]] [[Mode 3]], Tox's Death, a beautiful but buggy game staring the Grim Reaper, Old-Sckool's The Accidental Death, a short game with very basic grapics that received a majority of it's points through weight ranking.
The Summer 2006 DsDoZ was hosted by [[Insidious]] and began on July 14 at 5:00PM EDT; the topics were "Death" and "Pirates". Death was disputedly too broad of a topic (usually complaints about [[Day of Zeux|DoZ]] topics argue the converse; the "equilibrium" topic is a good example of this).
 
There was some controversy over the topic of death due to it's broadness.
